PHYS 1P96 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers II Statics and dynamics of fluids; heat and thermodynamics; electricity and magnetism; basic circuits; geometric and wave optics; special topics in modern physics.
Course Format: Lectures, 4 hours per week; lab 2 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 1P95 , or MATH 1P01 , MATH 1P05 and PHYS 1P91 , or permission of the instructor. Course Notes: This calculus-based course is designed for students in the physical and engineering sciences and or future teachers at the I/S levels. Students may not concurrently register in PHYS 1P22 or PHYS 1P92 . Materials fee required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in PHYS 1P22 or PHYS 1P92 .
