KINE 3P90 - Cardiorespiratory Exercise Physiology in Health and Disease Exploration of the integrative cardiovascular and respiratory mechanisms ensuring human survival during physiological stressors such as physical exercise. Topics include risk factors and exercise interactions associated with aging and various types of cardiovascular disease.
Course Format: Lectures 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to BKin, BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) and BSc (Kin) majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 8.0 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): KINE 2P90 Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Students will not receive earned credit for KINE 3P90 if HLSC 3P90 has been successfully completed.
