HLSC 3P90 - Cardiac Pathophysiology
Introduction to basic cardiac pathophysiology. Topics include heart structure and function, arterial dynamics and blood flow, risk factors associated with and mechanisms of various types of cardiovascular disease.
Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to BMED, CHHS, CHLH, CMTY, MSCI and PHTH majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BMED, CHHS, CHLH, CMTY, MSCI, PHTH, BKin and BSc (Kin) majors. Students must have a minimum of 9.0 overall credits.
Prerequisite(s): HLSC 2P95 (HLSC 2F95) or KINE 1P90 ; HLSC 2P09 or KINE 2P09 (PEKN)
Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
