EDUC 2P95 - Experiential Education Field Placement Field experience in traditional and non-traditional classroom settings. Professionalism and educator identity are emphasized.
Course Format: Lecture, field placement, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to BA (Honours) / BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BA Integrated Studies / BEd (Junior/Intermediate), BA Interactive Arts and Sciences (Honours) / BEd (Junior/Intermediate), BPhEd (Honours) / BEd (Junior/Intermediate), BPhEd (Honours) / BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BSc (Honours) / BEd (Intermediate/Senior), and BSc Integrated Studies (Honours) / BEd (Junior/Intermediate) majors with 4.0 overall credits. Course Notes: Completion of a field placement component is required by all students. Transportation to the setting is a student responsibility and students are responsible for covering all expenses associated with the field placement. A valid police record check with a vulnerable sector screening is required. The course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. An administrative fee is required. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace the previous assigned grade and credit obtained in CHYS 2P15 , CHYS 2P16 , CHYS 2F15 and CHYS 2F16 .
