SPMA 3P21 - Managing Human Resources in Sport Organizations
Theories, research and current practices emphasizing the fundamentals of managing sport employees. Topics may include job design, recruitment, interview and selection, orientation, training, and evaluation.
Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to SPMA majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 8.0 overall credits. Not open to BBA and BAcc majors.
Prerequisite(s): SPMA 2P21
Course Notes: Case studies may be used to highlight selected topics.This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in OBHR 2P51 and OBHR 2P52 .
