SPMA 2P65 - Sport Marketing Introduction to marketing concepts and strategies utilized in the sport industry. Topics include the marketing planning process, market research and segmentation, components of the marketing mix, promotional and pricing concepts and sport sponsorship.
Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to SPMA majors. Not open to BBA and BAcc majors. Prerequisite(s): SPMA 1P91 (minimum 60 percent) and SPMA 1P92 (minimum 60 percent) Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SPMA 3P65, MKTG 2P51 , MKTG 2P52 and OEVI 4P92 (MKTG).
