SOCI 3P00 - Introduction to Classical Social Theory
Central ideas of the social sciences, their intellectual origin and their change over time. The works of major social philosophers from the 18th and 19th centuries as well as classical sociological theorists.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to SOCI (single or combined) and CRIM majors, CRAS, SOCI and CRIM minors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 7.0 overall credits or 2.0 SOCI credits above SOCI 1P90 and SOCI 1P91 (1F90).
Prerequisite(s): SOCI 2P00
