KINE 2P20 - Introduction to Nutrition


Human nutrition as it relates to physical activity, health and disease. Processes of nutrient digestion, absorption and metabolism, as well as energy balance and body composition.

Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to AGEN, BKin, BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) and BSc (Kin) majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 3.5 overall credits.
Prerequisite(s): KINE 1P88  and KINE 1P90 
Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in HLSC 2P91  and HLSC 2P92 .
