HLSC 4P03 - Global Issues in Infectious Diseases World changes and their influence on emergence and re-emergence of infectious diseases. Interrelating biological, social and environmental factors that contribute to infectious disease causality and their impact on global societies.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to PHTH majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BMED, CHHS, CHLH, CMTY, MSCI, PHTH majors and ENSU minors. Students must have a minimum of 13.5 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): HLSC 1F90 or permission of the instructor Course Notes: ENSU minors, without the prerequisite, need to contact the Department to register. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in HLSC (INTC) 2P97 and INTC 4P03.
