HLSC 3Q98 - Laboratory Techniques for Biomedical Research


Introduction to laboratory techniques for separation and analyses of different molecular species. Topics include gene, protein, and lipid analysis with an emphasis on physiochemical characteristics.

Course Format: Lectures, lab, 4 hours per week
Restrictions: Open to BMED and MSCI majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BMED, MSCI, BIOL, BSc (Kin) and NMTR majors. Students must have a minimum of 9.0 overall credits.
Prerequisite(s): HLSC 2P09  or BIOL 2P97 
Course Notes: Materials fee required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
