HLSC 3P19 - Principles of Pharmacology
Drug absorption, distribution, biotrans-formation, clearance and mechanisms of action. Nervous, cardiovascular, endocrine system, renal and respiratory drugs. Drug development and regulations.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to BMED, CHHS, CHLH, MSCI and Nursing majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BMED, CHHS, CHLH, CMTY, MSCI, PHTH and Nursing majors.
Prerequisite(s): HLSC 2P95 (HLSC 2F95); HLSC 2P09 or KINE 2P09 (PEKN)
