HLSC 3P09 - Human Endocrinology

Physiological functions and cellular mechanisms of actions of hormones. Abnormalities of hormonal control leading to disease. Topics include pituitary, thyroid, adrenocortical, pancreatic and gonadal hormones.

Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to BMED, CHHS, CHLH and MSCI majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BMED, CHHS, CHLH, CMTY, MSCI and PHTH majors.
Prerequisite(s): HLSC 2P09  or KINE 2P09  (PEKN)
Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
