CHYS 3P65 - Understanding Children’s Minds Developmental perspectives on children’s thinking. Topics may include theory of mind, problem solving, language, memory, representation, humour, sarcasm, story-telling, narratives and disabilities.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar/lab, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) majors and minors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) majors, GHUM, SOSC students and CHYS minors date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 7.0 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): CHYS 2P10 Course Notes: Students may not concurrently register in PSYC 3P60 . This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in PSYC 3P60 .
