CHYS 1F95 - Child and Youth Studies in Indigenous Contexts Theories, methods and issues involved in studying children and youth from a multidisciplinary perspective. Topics may include the developmental psychology, history of childhood, family life, peer relations and children and youth with special needs within an Indigenous education context.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 72 contact hours. Restrictions: Open to BEd-Primary/Junior (Aboriginal) majors. Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in CHYS 1F90 .
