ADST 5P73 - ABA Assessment and Intervention Classroom and practicum hours. Exposure to the selection and use of functional assessments, behaviour-analytic intervention models, and tools for a wide range of clinical applications to socially relevant concerns. Practicum includes functional assessment and intervention skills and assignments that are conceptually consistent with the ethical and professional practice of ABA.
Prerequisite(s): ADST 5P72 and one special topics course (ADST 5V70-5V79 ) Co-requisite(s): ADST 5P74
Course Note(s): Students required to secure their own practicum site in an ABA setting with an approved Field Supervisor holding a BCBA® and/ R.B.A. (Ont.) or qualified faculty member. MA students are strongly encouraged to complete this practicum in the ADS clinic. MADS students may apply to complete their practicum in the ADS clinic on a first-come, first-serve basis. The number of available spots in the ADS clinic may vary by semester.
