2026-2027 Graduate Calendar

The Graduate Calendar offers a comprehensive guide to the graduate study opportunities available at Brock University, including information on admission requirements, program requirements, and available courses. The Graduate Calendar also outlines important academic policies and regulations related to graduate studies at Brock.

How to Use the Calendar

Please refer to the Understanding the Calendar page for a full explanation of calendar content.
Use the drop-down menu in the top right corner to check your program requirements in the correct academic calendar. Please note: 2025-26 calendars are the first to appear here; for previous calendars, visit Brock University’s historical calendar page. Log in to my.brocku.ca and visit your Program Status page to see your regulation and calendar year. You will, however, need to refer to the current calendar and/or the Academic Timetable for current course descriptions, restrictions and prerequisites.
Use the navigation menu to the left to browse graduate courses, programs and administrative content.
Use the search bar in the upper left to search keywords in the entire Calendar or use the drop-down to filter your search by Courses / Programs / Faculties, Department & Centres / Other Academic Content.

This Graduate Calendar sets out the regulations, programs and courses for the academic year indicated. The graduate academic year consists of three sixteen-week graduate terms (Spring/Summer, Fall, and Winter) and is effective starting from the Spring term of the year in which it was published. Students may follow the academic policies and program regulations set out in the calendar of the term in which they were first admitted to the program or any subsequent calendar. Students whose studies have been interrupted for one or more years become subject to the Calendar regulations in effect at the time of their re-registration.

Every effort has been made to ensure the completeness and accuracy of this Calendar. However, the University reserves the right to update or correct any part of the Calendar without prior notice. In the case of discrepancies between the Calendar and the policies or program details approved by the University Senate, the terms of the policy or program approved by Senate shall prevail.
