TOUR 3P22 - Quantitative Research Design and Methodology Concepts and applications of descriptive and inferential statistics. Use of measures of central tendency, hypothesis testing (t-test and ANOVA), regression analysis, non-parametric tests, spatial statistics and use of geographic information systems (GIS).
Course Format: Lectures, lab, 4 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): TOUR 2P21 (TMGT/TREN), GEOG 2P21 or permission of the instructor Cross-Listing(s): GEOG 3P22 Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in GEOG 2P11 and GEOG 2P12.
