SPMA 3P05 - Management Concepts in Non-profit Sport Organizations Principles and practices in the planning, development and management of a non-profit sport organization. Topics may include regulatory codes, funding, governance, leadership, volunteer roles, analysis of organizational performance.
Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to SPMA majors with a minimum of 8.0 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): SPMA 2P06 Course Notes: An experiential component may be required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SPMA 3P90.
