SOCI 3P02 - Qualitative Sociological Methods Selected qualitative methods commonly used in Sociology. Topics may include participant observation, unobtrusive methods, case studies, interviews, focus groups, textual and historical analyses.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to SOCI (single or combined) and CRIM majors, CRAS, SOCI and CRIM minors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 7.0 overall credits or 2.0 SOCI credits above SOCI 1P90 and SOCI 1P91 (1F90). Prerequisite(s): SOCI 2P11 Cross-Listing(s): CRIM 3P02 Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
