PHIL 1F90 - Introduction to Philosophy: Philosophical Classics and Contemporary Life Contemporary problems viewed through a variety of philosophical writings. Students are encouraged to formulate and examine their own beliefs about freedom, knowledge, religion, love and questions of right and wrong.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in PHIL 1F91 , PHIL 1F93 , PHIL 1F94 , PHIL 1F95 , PHIL 1F96 and PHIL 1F97 except with permission of the department.
