MATH 2P92 - Introduction to Combinatorics Counting, inclusion and exclusion, pigeonhole principle, permutations and combinations, derangements, binomial expansions. Introduction to discrete probability and graph theory, Eulerian graphs, Hamilton Cycles, colouring, planarity, and trees.
Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week; tutorial, 1 hour per week. Prerequisite(s): Two 4U mathematics credits or permission of the instructor Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in MATH 2P71.
