KINE 4F16 - Exercise Programming for Neuromuscular Disability


Developing and implementing strength training, aerobic training and locomotor training for community members with a spinal cord injury.

Course Format: Lectures, 2 hours per week; field work, 2 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to BKin, BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior) and BSc (Kin) majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 10.0 overall credits.
Prerequisite(s): KINE 2P09  
Course Notes: KINE 3P92  is recommended as prerequisite or co-requisite. Field placement is required. Police record check with a vulnerable sector screening may be required at the student’s expense. Proof of Standard First Aid and CPR certification required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
