IASC 1P00 - Introduction to Media Computation
Programming by example; designing and debugging of programs; encoding and manipulation of text and graphics; file processing; simple HTML and automatic generation, manipulating and parsing of web pages.
Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab, 2 hours per week; tutorial, 1 hour per week.
Restrictions: Not open to COSC (single or combined), BCB, CAST, CNET or DASA majors.

Course Notes: Prior computer experience is not required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
