HLSC 3Q21 - Health Campaigns in Action Practical experience implementing and evaluating a micro public health movement. Skill development in grassroots mobilization, social marketing, advocacy, collaboration, formative evaluation techniques, survey construction, data collection and analysis, and knowledge translation.
Course Format: Lectures 1 hour per week, seminar 1 hour per week, experiential 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to PHTH majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to CHHS, CHLH, CMTY, MSCI and PHTH majors. Students must have a minimum of 9.0 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): HLSC 2P07 and HLSC 3Q20 Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in HLSC 3F20.
