ERSC 3P93 - Exploration Geophysics


Underlying physical principles and practical aspects of field acquisition, processing and data interpretation for most common geophysical techniques used in mineral exploration: potential fields, radiometrics, resistivity and electromagnetic methods. Geological interpretation, data integration and applications to specific deposit types.

Course Format: Lectures, lab, 5 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): ERSC 2P18  and ERSC 2P93  
Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in ERSC 3V93.
