ECON 4P14 - Advanced Microeconomics Advanced micro theory. Topics may include theory of consumer behaviour, theory of the firm, imperfect competition, general equilibrium and welfare economics, behaviour under uncertainty, risk and asymmetric information.
Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to ECON (single or combined), ECAN, BBE, INPE majors and ECON minors until date specified in Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): ECON 2P21 or ECON 2P23 (minimum 70 percent); ECON 3P21 (minimum 70 percent) and ECON 3Q91 (minimum 70 percent) or permission of the instructor Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
