COMM 2P91 - Social Media Theory, philosophy and politics of Social Media as a communicative mode. Politics of participatory and commodified culture online and processes of planning content to convey a narrative or convene a community.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to BCMN, COMM, MCMN, PCUL, GAMD, IASC majors and DCUL, MEST minors until date specified in the Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): One of COMM 1P91 and COMM 1P92 (1F90), CPCF 1F25 , PCUL 1F92 , IASC 1F01 (1F00) or permission of the instructor Cross-Listing(s): IASC 2P91 and PCUL 2P91 Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery.
