CHYS 3P47 - Introduction to Behaviour Analysis and Therapy Basic learning principles, procedures, and concepts and how they can be applied to support children and youth in everyday life. Focus on disabilities and mental health issues in school, clinical, family, and other settings.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior), CHHS, CHLH majors and CHYS minors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior), CHHS, CHLH majors, GHUM, SOSC students and CHYS minors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 7.0 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): CHYS 2P35 Course Notes: Students may not concurrently register in ADST 4P90 . This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in ADST 4P90 .
