CHEM 3P51 - Quantum Chemistry Schrodinger equation, solution of the harmonic oscillator problem, hydrogen atom, angular momentum theory, variational method with applications to atomic and molecular systems, molecular orbital theory and simple group theory. Classical quantum experiments include Young’s double slit experiment, photoelectric effect, and DNA structure elucidation
