BIOL 3P99 - Medical and Veterinary Entomology


Identification, behavioural ecology, evolution, and disease relationships of arthropods affecting the health of humans and domestic animals. Examination of empirical studies in the current literature.

Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to BIOL (single or combined), BIOL (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BSc Integrated Studies (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate), BCHM, BMED, BTEC, NEUR, OEVI majors and BIOL minors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 8.0 overall credits.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1P91 , BIOL 1P92  (1F90), BIOL 2P02 BIOL 2P03  (2F01) and BIOL 2P05
