MUSI 4F97 - Recital II

Continuation of individual instrumental or vocal study. Directed preparation and execution of a public recital program under the supervision of the student’s principal teacher.

Course Format: Private instruction, 1 hour per week; performance seminar, 1 hour per week; concert attendance, 1 hour per week.
Restrictions: Open to BMus majors and permission of the Department; audition required.
Prerequisite(s): MUSI 3P92 and 4P01, or MUSI 4F07 (recital minimum 80 percent).
Course Notes: Accompanist fee may be required. Recital program must be approximately 60 minutes of music. A written proposal must be submitted to the Department for approval by April 1. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in MUSI 4P92 and MUSI 4P02.
