MUSI 2F97 - Preparatory Recital

Continuation of individual instrumental or vocal study. Preparation and execution of a public recital program under the supervision of the student’s principal teacher.

Course Format: Private instruction, 1 hour per week; performance seminar, 1 hour per week; concert attendance, 1 hour per week.
Restrictions: Open to BMus (Concentration in Music Performance) majors and permission of the Department; audition required.
Prerequisite(s): MUSI 1F92 (jury minimum 90 percent) or permission of the Department.
Course Notes: Accompanist fee may be required. Prerequisite may be satisfied with its equivalent by audition. Recital program must be approximately 20 minutes of music. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in MUSI 2F91 and MUSI 2F92.
