MUSI 1P04 - Music Theory Rudiments

Basics of musical notation to advanced rudiments: pitch notation, rhythm notation, meter, key signatures, scales, intervals, chords, terms and signs.

Course Format: Lecture, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Not open to BMus majors.
Course Notes: Major credit will not be granted to Music majors. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in MUSI 1Y04.
