FILM 1F94 - Introduction to Film Studies

The study of film as an academic discipline. Close consideration of film aesthetics and cinematic language, as well as critical analysis of selected films in relation to their cultural contexts.

Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week; plus weekly screening.
