MUSI 4P40 - Arts Management: Planning, Operations, Context
Effective management in the arts to fulfill social and artistic mandates. Focus on advocacy, organizational design, strategic planning and industry context to evolve an arts business, organization or career.
Course Format: Seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to STAC, CANA, DART (single or combined), DART (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), VISA (single or combined) and VISA (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior) majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 12.0 overall credits or permission of the instructor.
Cross-Listing(s): DART 4P40 , STAC 4P40 and VISA 4P40 .
Course Notes: Materials fee may be required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in STAC 4F40.
