WGST 4P60 - Monstrous Women in Hispanic Arts and Cultures
Depiction of women as monstrous or deviant in art, film, literature and popular culture. Feminist literary theory of alterity (otherness). Theoretical perspectives on self, identity, culture, sexuality, and power.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): Students must have a minimum of 10.0 overall credits or permission of the instructor.
