WGST 4P60 - Monstrous Women in Hispanic Arts and Cultures Depiction of women as monstrous or deviant in art, film, literature and popular culture. Feminist literary theory of alterity (otherness). Theoretical perspectives on self, identity, culture, sexuality, and power.
Course Format: Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): Students must have a minimum of 10.0 overall credits or permission of the instructor. Cross-Listing(s): SPAN 4P60 Course Notes: Given in English. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SPAN 4V60.
