TOUR 2P31 - Tourist Behaviour
Socio-cultural dimensions of tourists and tourists’ behaviours during the process of taking a holiday. Issues of motivation, social role and attitudes in tourist settings, including indigenous cultural heritage attractions. Ethical and delinquent behaviours, host and guest relations, typology of tourists, and decision-making processes.
Course Format: Lectures, 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): TOUR 1P91 , TOUR 1P92 or permission of the instructor
Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in TMGT (TREN) 2P12.
