KINE 3P06 - Dance for Education and Health Theory and practice of dance as an artistic, educational, recreational and therapeutic activity across the lifespan.
Course Format: Lab, 3 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to BKin, BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate), BSc (Kin), DART and STAC majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 8.0 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): KINE 2F00 or permission of the instructor Course Notes: Students will be expected to pay the cost of a ticket to a dance performance on campus. Modes of instruction/evaluation will normally include vigorous physical activity.This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
