KINE 2F00 - Fundamental Movement Skills Educational and developmental value of non-formal and foundational games, gymnastics and dance activities. Emphasis on developing the creative process, skills and vocabulary through exploration of movement concepts and instructional/observational skills. Practical and theoretical work.
Course Format: Lectures, lab, 4 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior) and BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to BKin, BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) and BSc (Kin) majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 3.5 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): KINE 1P90 and KINE 1P93 Course Notes: Modes of instruction/evaluation will typically include vigorous physical activity.This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
