NUSC 1P03 - Nursing Clinical Judgement & Skills

Clinical judgement processes and how they inform nursing decisions and actions. Concepts, principles, and theories foundational to nursing practice including, steps in clinical judgement, self-directed thinking, ways of knowing, principles of evidence informed decision making, introduction to basic human physiological needs, and provision of safe nursing care in the simulated care environment.

Course Format: Lectures 1 hour per week; lab 2 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to NUSC majors.
Course Notes: A course fee will be applied. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
