NUSC 1P02 - Nursing Fundamentals

Nursing role in healthcare and society. Concepts, principles, and theories foundational to nursing practice including understanding context, social determinants of health, health promotion, practice standards, and nursing as a regulated profession.

Course Format: Lectures 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to NUSC majors.
Prerequisite(s): NUSC 1P01
Course Notes: A course fee will be applied. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace the previous assigned grade, and the credit obtained in NUSC 1P12.
