DART 2P50 - The Poetic Body Exploration of movement principles for expanding the performer’s body and imagination. Examination of the poetic body through mask, physical theatre, play, expressive/abstract movement, and theatrical composition.
Course Format: Lab, 5 hours per week. Restrictions: Open to DART (single or combined) and DART (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior) majors until date specified in the Registration Guide. After that date, open to DART (single or combined) and DART (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior) majors, DART Minors, BA Integrated Studies (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate and BA Interactive Arts & Science (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) until date specified in Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): DART 1F50 or DART 1P99. Course Notes: Materials fee and field trip fee may be required. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term Exclusions: Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in DART 2F50.
