GEOG 4P83 - Contemporary issues in water sustainability


Integrated focus on theory and current water sustainability issues in Canada and globally; water in a complex social-ecological system, with an emphasis on sustainability solutions and barriers, including governance, resilience, and power.

Course Format: Seminar, 3 hours per week.
Restrictions: Open to GEOG (single or combined) and GEOG (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have approval to year 4 (honours).
Prerequisite(s): Two credits from ERSC, ENSU, GEOG or permission of the instructor.  GEOG 3P83 is strongly recommended.
Course Notes: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
